I have had a poll card but my name has changed
You can still vote in your old name - you have to be able to state that you are the elector registered as AA, even though your name has changed to AB.
However, if you vote by post, you will need to submit a new postal voting application form with your new signature on it.
A postal vote has to be accompanied by a statement that carries your signature and date of birth or your vote may be rejected if we find that your signature doesn't match the signature that we already hold for you.
