Please complete this online form to make an application for a licence for one of the following activities:
- Selling animals as pets
- Keeping or training animals for exhibition
- Boarding animals
- Hiring out horses
- Breeding dogs
You will be required to pay an application fee at the end of this form. The amount to pay will be outlined when you reach the payment section of the form.
Before applying you will need to ensure you have the following documents:
- Premises site plan
- Insurance (public liability and where applicable Employers liability)
- All operating procedures as required by the licence conditions, including but not limited to infection control, risk assessments, terms and conditions, booking forms
- Qualifications and recent training records
- For riding establishments, you will need a spreadsheet containing the Name, Microchip Number and Passport number for each horse that is to be listed on the licence
- For pet shops, you will need a spreadsheet of the type and number of each animal
- For exhibition licences, you will need a schedule of the type and number of animals to be trained and the type and number to be trained an the type of animals to be exhibited
