Help with Food During School Holidays (for Children on Free School Meals)
You can apply until Friday 20 February 2026, or until all the money has been claimed.
If your application is accepted, you will get a voucher in mid-October before the school holidays.
Before you start this application
Please read this before you begin:
- This help is only for children who live and go to school in West Northamptonshire (Brackley, Daventry, Northampton, Towcester, and nearby villages).
- Your child must get free school meals because of your benefits. You’ll need to give us the special number you got when your free school meals were approved. It starts with PP or SM. If you cannot locate this number, you can still submit your application, but it may take longer to process.

- You can only get one voucher per child. If your application is accepted, the voucher will cover holidays until 31 March 2026.
- If more than one adult looks after the child, the person who applied for free school meals should fill in this form.
Tips for Filling in the Form
- You must finish the form in one go. You can’t save it and come back later.
- It’s best to use a computer. If you don’t have one, you can use one at your local library.
- The form takes about 8 minutes to fill in.
- Any box with a red star (*) must be filled in.
